GREEK CAMPANIAN TERRACOTTA OINOCHOE WITH RIBBED DECORATION

A black-glazed pottery vessel with a globular rounded ribbed body swelling out from a low ring foot. The lip is pinched into a trefoil pattern, creating three directions from which the contents could be poured. The handle with a protrusion on top arching from the lip to the flat shoulder. Deep shiny black glaze, covering the entire surface and the bottom of the base.
