ROMAN TERRACOTTA JUG WITH HANDLE
Ca. 1-300 AD. A pottery vessel in the form of a jug / flagon with a bulbous-shaped body, tapering to a small circular base. It features a short neck and everted rim, and a single handle arching from the neck to the shoulder. Vessels such as this one were designed for everyday use, in particular for carrying and serving water and wine at banquets. Intact.
