2nd - 3rd century AD. Bronze bull with two front legs outstretched, with an opening to the rear, originally to be attached to a wooden or iron handle/material. Small incisions for the effect of fur. Provenance: From the family collection of a Lewisham gentleman, formerly acquired in the 1980s.
