7th - 9th century AD. A large bronze cross decorated on one side with circle and dot patterns, with a suspension hoop at the top and pierced at the bottom to be attached to a wall. Attractive green patina. Very fine condition, one hoop to the left chipped. Property of a South London gentleman, from his family collection since before 1970s.
