Rev: ADVENTVS AVG, Roma standing left, holding spear and clasping hands with Hadrian standing right.

Adventus issues were minted in a particular city to celebrate the arrival of the emperor there. Hadrian was the first to use this theme on the regular coinage; this particular coin marks his return to Rome after his extensive travels across the empire.
