★ Very rare imitation of Nikomedia ★
ARAB-BYZANTINE: Rashidun Caliphate, AE fals, Three standing figures c. 637-643. Imitating a follis of Nicomedia, uncertain mint in Syria, 4.47g, 20-22mm.
Obv: Three imperial figures standing facing, each wearing crown surmounted by cross and holding globus cruciger in right hand.
Rev: Large M between blundered date IXII (to left) and ANO to right; above, cross; below; B; in exergue, NIKe.
