Imitations from this period of the VLPP/two victories types are plentiful, especially derived from the Siscia mint. This VIRTVS EXERCIT type was less imitated, and examples copying the Thessalonica mint are scarce to rare; the official source type with this bust is very rare. Overall, this is a marvelous imitative coin.
