Severus Alexander. A.D. 222-235. AE sestertius (29.3 mm, 19.56 g, 12 h). Rome mint, struck A.D. 231-235. IMP ALEXANDER PIVS AVG, laureate bust of Severus Alexander right, draped left shoulder / PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing left, holding grain ears over modius and cornucopia, S-C in fields. RIC 642; BMCRE 881. Good VF.
