Kings of Armenia. Tigranes II the Great. 95-56 B.C. AE Hemichakous (12.6 mm, 1.56 g, 12 h). Tigranocerta mint, Struck ca. 70-69 B.C. Diademed and draped bust right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star / BAΣIΛEΩΣ / TIΓΡANOΥ / ΔHMO, horse grazing right. Kovacs 97; Bedoukian -; Nercessian 121. Near VF, brown patina, slight roughness. Scarce.
