"Asia , uncertain Asian mint city of CA coinage . Augustus. 27 B.C.-A.D. 14 AE as (25.6 mm, 9.76 g, 11 h). ("barbarous") contemporary copy. unofficial mint of uncertain Asian origin. CAEZRA (sic), title vertically upwards to left of bare head of Augustus right / AVCVSTVS (sic), "ACVSTVS" within 8-leaf laurel wreath, pellet-in-annulet at top. Cf. RPC I 2235. Good VF, crude, but attractive and well-struck obverse on generous-sized flan; reverse partially weakly struck; odd "void" in light green patina at 6:00 obv. .
