Julian II. As Caesar, A.D. 355-360. AE reduced majorina (15.5 mm, 2.61 g, 12 h). Antioch mint, Struck A.D. 355-356. D N CL IVLIANV-S NOB CAES, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Julian, Caesar right / FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier lunging left spearing fallen horseman who falls forward over horse's neck // AN Є·I. RIC VIII 189; LRBC 2636. Damaged VF, well-struck on somewhat skimpy and undersized flan, lamination damage on Julian's hair; dark olive patina with ochre deposits in fields and recesses.
