Large B within six-pointed star, all within dotted border / Mug of beer with foamy head and handle to right, within dotted border. damaged VF, Token has two incomplete but deep nail-point punched hole-starts at the top and bottom points of the star; lightly toned.
These were popular throughout Europe, particularly in Germany; more specifically, Southern Germany. "In Southern Germany the hexagram is the symbol for the tapping of beer and sign of the brewer's guild. In German this is called 'Bierstern' (beer star) or 'Brauerstern' (brewer's star).
