Theodosius I. A.D. 379-395. AE24 majorina (23.5 mm, 4.42 g, 11 h). Antioch mint, Struck A.D. 383-386. D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, draped and cuirassed bust of Theodosius I in pearl-diademed crested helmet right, holding spear / GLORIA RO-MANOR[VM], Theodosius I in military dress, standing facing in prow of galley steered by Victory; head right; raising hand (and holding wreath which which he is crowning Victory?); wreath - cross / / ANTΓ. RIC IX 40 d, 4; LRBC 2721. VF, slightly oval flan crowds legends, nice desert patina: olive patina with light tan deposits in fields and recesses.
