A collection of five rare Gandharan stone heads from the Indus Valley, ca. 3rd - 4th Century A.D. They are 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches high and are carved from the blue-gray schist characteristic of the region. Each depicts a different individual; one portrays Buddha, all are uncleaned and have good mineral deposits. The group comes displayed in a Riker mount.
