A nice Egyptian wooden figure, Middle Kingdom, ca. 2061 - 1690 B.C. from a model depicting a scene from everyday life, the male figure is seated, wearing a long kilt with good facial detail and a short wig. Well-preserved with much of the original pigments preserved beneath earthen deposits. H: 6 7/8 in. (17.4 cm). Old wood base. Ex New Jersey estate.
