A fine Calima vessel from Colombia, ca. 300 - 1300 A.D. . It is 6-1/4? in diameter and features a beautifully detailed monkey perched atop the chamber, with its tail curved up along the bridge handle. The lentoid chamber is encircled with a delicately incised star design. Intact, good mineral deposits. Museum deaccession.
