AV Histamenon Nomisma, Constantinople. +IhS XIS REX REGNANTINM (or similar), bust of Christ facing with nimbus cross having one or two dots or wedges or bars in each limb of the cross, holding book of gospels and raising right hand / +bASIL C CONSTANT b R (or similar), crowned, facing busts of Basil, with short beard, wearing loros with diamond-shaped pattern, on left, and Constantine, no beard, wearing chlamys, holding long patriarchal cross, sometimes with triangular wedge on the shaft, between them.
