Byzantine lead seal of Nicholaos officer
(ca 11th cent.)
Obverse: Saint bishop Nicholaos of Myrrha standing facial, nimbate, wearing prelate's garments, orans, sigla in either side of the field, [ΟΝΙΚΟ]-ΛΑΟC (Saint Nicholaos), all within dotted border.
Reverse: Inscription in 5 lines, +CΦΡΑ/ΓΙCRΕ/RΑΙΑΤΩ[Ν]/ΛΟΓΩΝ[ΝΙ]/ΚΟΛ[ΑΟΥ] (Here is the sure seal of Nicholaos' words), all within dotted border.
It's to note that the inscription on reverse creates a twelve-syllable metric/iambic verse.
