Obverse:Facial bust of the Mother of God in "Nikopoios" style and in oransposture, nimbate, wearing maphorion and chiton, sigla, ΜΡ-ΘV (Mother ofGod), infant Jesus Christ in medallion on her chest, all within dotted border.
Reverse: Inscription in 5 lines, +ΘΚΕ/RΘ,RΑCΙ/ΛΕΙΩΤ[Ω]/ΦΑΡΑΜ[Α]/ΝΙ(Mother of God, help Basileios Pharamanes), all within dotted border.12
