Byzantine lead seal of John officer
(ca 11th cent.)
Obverse: Bust of saint John the (?), facial, nimbate, in monk's garments, blessing by his right and holding the book of Gospels in his left, sigla Ο(ΑΓΙΟC)/ ΙΩ/Ο-Κ/ΛΑΝ/Ω (Saint John the Klano?), dotted border.
Reverse: Inscription in 5 lines, +ΟΜΩ/ΝΥΜΟΥΝΤ,/ΤΗΝRΟΗ/ΘΕΙΑΝ/ΔΙΔΟΥ = Ὁμωνυμοῦντι τὴν βοήθειαν δίδου (Oh [saint John], deliver your help to me that I bear your name), dotted border.
It's to note that the inscription in reverse consists a twelve-syllable iambic verse.
