Byzantine lead seal of Stefan dishypatos
(ca 13th cent.)
Obverse: Bust of saint Nicholaos, facial, nimbate, in prelate's garments, blessing by his right and holding the book of Gospels with his left, sigla [Ο(ΑΓΙΟC]NI-ΚΟΛ(ΑΟC) (Saint Nicholaos), dotted border.
Reverse: Inscription in 3 lines between decorative patterns, CΤΕΦΑ/ΝΟCΔΗCΥ/ΠΑΤΟC = Στέφανος δισύπατος (Steven dishypatos), dotted border.
