A large nice late Byzantine lead seal of the officer Basileios(ca 13th/14th cent.)
Obverse: Bust of archangel Michael facing, nimbate, wearing military garments, holding spear in right hand and cruciger globus in his left, sigla, O ΑΡΧΩΝ-MIΧΑΗΛ = Ὁ ἄρχων Μιχαὴλ (The archangel Michael), all within dotted border.

Reverse: Inscription in 8 lines, +ΑΡΧΟ/ΝΤΟΝΑΝΟ/ΚΕΘΙΟΝCΤΡ/ΑΤΕΥΜΑΤΟΝ/ΦΡΟΥΡΙΟΕ[Μ]Φ/ΑΝΙΘΙΚΑ[Ι]ΒΑCΙΛΕΙ[Ω]CΟΛ/ΑΤΡΕΙ = Ἄρχων τῶν ἄνω καὶ θείων στρατευμάτων, φρούροιο, ἐμφάνηθι καὶ Βασιλείῳ, σῷ λάτρει (Oh commandor of the upper and divine armies (=angels), you might protect and appear to your servant Basileios), all within dotted border.
