The obverse style is close to the standard portraits of Herakles of the time. However, the reverse is of considerably inferior engraving style.
In addition, there is no dotted border and the feeble legend runs upwards, all features not normally encountered in Alexander’s standard coinage, especially decadrachms which are always of very high engraving style.
