Scythian Necklace String with Animal Head Pendants
6th century BC-3rd century AD. A restrung necklace of wound bronze wire fusiform beads with spherical carnelian and bronze beads, animal-head dangles, tubular bronze components and domed disc finials. 170 grams, 50cm (19 1/2"). Property of a European businessman; from his private Belgian collection formed in the 1990s; previously in a North American collection formed in Illinois in the 1980s. [No Reserve]
Fine condition.
