Description
Parthian Bracelet with Gold Appliqué
3rd century BC-2nd century AD. A ferrous round-section hoop with snake-head terminals, discoid bezel with inset gold repoussé plaque of a horseman in profile. 44 grams, 91.5mm (3 5/8"). Property of a Mayfair lady; formerly in an important London collection formed since 1965.
