Vespasian AR Denarius. AD 69-79. IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG COS IIII TR P P P, laureate head to right / PACI AVGVSTAE, Victory advancing to right, holding palm branch and wreath; to right, star. RIC² 1454. 3.19gr, 18mm, 12h Very Fine. Slightly double struck of reverse. Very rare obverse legend.

Ex German art market, 2000s. Acquired from an EU collector living in London. From the collection of Surrey, UK, gentleman.
