Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Carausius - Reproduction AR Denarius
19th century A.D. (286-293 A.D.). Modern reproduction: RSR' mint of 286-293 A.D. Obv: IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, draped and laureate head to right. Rev: VOTVM PVBLIC, square altar inscribed MVLTIS XX IMP in three lines; RSR below. For prototype cf. RIC V 597. 5.74g, 20mm, 6h; a reproduction of an extremely rare prototype. 5.74 grams. .
