French Silver 'For My Life' Iconographic Ring with Amethyst Gemstone
Late 18th century A.D. Hoop with winged angels forming the shoulders above a cross to one face and pierced heart to the other; bezel with inset pyramidal amethyst; underside inscribed 'amavye' (for my life). 8.67 grams, 26.82 mm overall, 18.35 mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8, Europe 17.49 , Japan 16) (1 in.).
