Stone Age Livre de Beurre Core
Neolithic Period, 2100-1850 B.C. A well-formed 'livre de beurre' core in yellow-brown flint. See Martin, Dr. H., Etude sur les 'Livres de Beurre' du Grand Pressigny, in Société Préhistorique de France, 1906, pp.45-55, and plate. 809 grams, 16 cm (6 1/4 in.).
