Ancient Greek Coins - Indo-Scythian - Azes I or II - King Seated Tetradrachm
58-2 B.C. Obv: BASILEWS BASILEWN MEGALOY AZOY legend with Azes sitting facing, cross-legged on couch with sword on lap, holding statuette in extended right hand. Rev: 'Maharajasa Rajadhirajasa Mahatasa Ayasa' in Karoshti with Hermes standing front, looking left, holding caduceus in left hand and raising his right hand; monograms to left and right. Hoover HGC 662 (Azes I); Mitchiner Indo-Greek 861f (Azes II). 10.34 grams.
