Description

Medieval Silver Annular Brooch
13th-14th century A.D. Composed of a slender round-section frame with free-running tongue, decorated with punched annulets to both sides of the neck. 0.92 grams, 18 mm (3/4 in.).

Found whilst searching with a metal detector near Yapham, East Yorkshire, UK, in 24th July 2016 by Mr David Brooks. Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.YORYM-9A109A. Declared and disclaimed as Treasure with reference no.2016 T562. Accompanied by a copy of the Report for HM Coroner with reference no.2016 T562. [No Reserve]
