Massive Stone Age Knapped Stone Hand Axe
Lower Palaeolithic Period, circa 200,000-100,000 B.P.. Of triangular cross section tapering from a slender point to a convex butt; with custom-made display stand. 1.69 kg total, 34 cm including stand (13 3/8 in.).
Old German collection, before 1920. [No Reserve]
