Medieval 'Thames' Pewter Candlestick
Circa 14th-15th century A.D. A pewter tripod candlestick with a discoid body decorated with concentric roundels of ring-and-dot and hatched motifs, central 'cup' and three legs with trefoil feet; one leg restored. 15.3 grams, 56 mm wide (2 1/4 in.). Found on the Thames foreshore, London, UK.Acquired on the UK antiques market between 1974-1985.Albert Ward collection, Essex, UK. [No Reserve]
