Greek Terracotta Foot-Shaped Aryballos
6th century B.C. A ceramic vessel shaped as a human foot with sandal; cup-shaped mouth above the ankle with strap to the rear, painted strap detailing; restored. Cf. Ducat, J., Les vase plastiques rhodiens archaïques en terre cuite, Paris, 1966, p.182, Type B.1. 118 grams, 10.8 cm (4 1/4 in.).
