A rectangular buckle plate with one scalloped edge, two roundels bearing a strutting bird and castle motif, banner flourish to one corner; remains of green and blue enamelling and remains of gilding; seven rivet holes to both vertical sides. 38.3 grams, 53 mm (2 1/8 in.).
