Anglo-Saxon Seax War Knife Pommel Cap with Interlaced Panels 8th-10th century A.D. A seax war knife pommel with oval-shaped top and four vandykes to the edges; the upper face with an incuse knot design, the edges with spirals and guilloche motifs. 27.5 grams, 31 mm (1 1/4 in.). UK gallery, acquired in the 2000s. Property of an English gentleman.
