Romano-Celtic Dolphin Trefoil Whorl Brooch 2nd-3rd century A.D. A bronze brooch composed of figurative dolphins arranged in whorl formation, each with a small dimple eye, three D-shaped lugs to the circumference; hinge pin and catchplate to reverse. 10 grams, 33 mm (1 3/8 in.). Acquired 1970s-1980s. Ex UK collection. Property of a Portsmouth, UK gentleman.
