Viking Age Silver Axe Pendant. 9th-11th century A.D. A silver axehead pendant formed with a notch to each cheek and a D-section cutting edge, the socket doubling as the suspension loop. 2.4 grams, 23 mm (7/8 in.) German art market before 2000. With a European gentleman living in the UK. Property of a Surrey gentleman. [No Reserve]
