Samaria, Neapolis. Trebonianus Gallus. Æ (12.28 g), AD 251-253 ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ Γ ΟΥE ΤΡEΒ ΓΑΛΟC, laureate and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus right. Reverse: ΦΛ ΝEΑϹΠΟΛEϹ, Mt. Gerizim with temple in perspective, and altar (on the l.), steep stairway and colonnade, enclosed by wreath; below, eagle facing, head l., spreading wings. Rosenberger 113; Sofaer 219; RPC IX 2144.
