Very rare variety without W. WYON on truncation. Unofficial French striking. One clasp: “Sebastopol”. Unnamed. On ribbon. Two other French strikings are known – without Wyon signature, but with initials “E.F.” by date; and obverse unsigned and undated. On original ribbon. Toned with violet and aquamarine hues over contact marks.
