MAGNA GRAECIA. SICILY, GELA.
Silver Didrachm, circa 490-475 BC.
Obv: horseman riding right, preparing to cast javelin. Rev: forepart of man-headed bull right; CΕΛΑΣ below; all within circular incuse.

About Very Fine; obverse struck off-centre, beautifully toned with attractive multi-coloured iridescence emanating from both sides.
