W-Reiter Type, imitating the types of Philip II of Macedon. Obv: celticised, laureate and bearded head of Zeus right. Rev: rider on horseback left, holdng reins and raising arm, cloak billowing behind; W and pellets above, parallel lines before.
Good Very Fine; minor areas of weakness, otherwise an attractive, striking example of a wonderful type.
