Bronze sestertius, AD 241-244. Rome.
Obv: IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: VICTORIA AETER, Victory standing facing, head left, holding palm and leaning on shield, under which is a captive; S-C across fields.
