ROMAN REPUBLIC & IMPERATORIAL. Octavian.
Silver denarius, 30-29 BC. Italian mint (likely Brundisium or Rome).
Obv: bare head right. Rev: military trophy facing, composed of helmet, cuirass, shield and crossed spears, rudder and anchor at base, all set on prow of galley below; IMP-CAESAR across fields.
About Extremely Fine; exhibiting a shimmering cabinet tone and featuring a striking portrait of Octavian.
