ANCIENT GREECE. ATTICA, ATHENS.
Silver tetradrachm, circa 454-440 BC.
Obv: Athena head right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three olive leaves, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev: ΑΘΕ, owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square.
Extremely Fine; wide flan, minor scrape to rev., attractive light cabinet tone.
