ANCIENT GREECE. ATHENS, ATTICA.
Silver tetradrachm, Circa 454-440 BC.
Late "transitional" issue. Obv: Athena head right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three olive leaves, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev: ΑΘΕ, owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square.
Extremely Fine.
