Applied to the reverse of a 1/5 cut 8 Reales of Ferdinand VII, minted in Mexico City between 1812 and 1821. This is a much more precise attribution than is typically possible on this type, owing to the partial assayer's initial and the face of the monarch on the opposing side. Slabbed by PCGS as VF35. According to a governmental report dated 20th December 1825, after the government ceased buying Dollars to make small change in 3 and 5 parts, cutting was open to anyone and became a general practice with pieces being readily accepted. Resello de Curacao, emitido por la ordenanza local del 13 de julio de 1818, sobre el reverso de 1/5 de 8 reales de Fernando VII acuñado entre 1812 y 1821. Se trata de una atribución mucho más precisa de lo que suele ser posible en este tipo de moneda, debido a la inicial parcial del ensayador y al rostro del monarca en el reverso. Según un informe gubernamental fechado el 20 de diciembre de 1825, después de que el gobierno dejara de comprar dólares para hacer pequeñas monedas de 3 y 5 partes, el corte quedó abierto a todo el mundo y se convirtió en una práctica generalizada, aceptándose sin problemas las distintas fracciones.
