BRITISH GUIANA: AV medalets (6.89g), ND (1910), Prid-69, approximate AGW 0.0831, 2 medalets made into cufflinks hallmarked .375 fine (the links and barbels may be different fineness, but appear to be fine gold), medalets have full-rigged sailing ship with DAMUS PETIMUSQUE VICISSIM.BRITISH GUIANA. around // St. George slaying Dragon with hallmarks, center reverse mounts, edges reeded, EF-AU. According to Pridmore, these have been classed as patterns for a gold dollar. They were produced privately by a Georgetown jeweler. Most specimens have been mounted for jewelry.
