UMAYYAD: Anonymous, ca. 740±, AE fals (2.92g), al-Mansur, ND, A-A204, duriba hadha al-fals bi'l-mansura // muhammad rasul Allah, porous surfaces, unpublished, probably unique, Fine, RRR. The style and engraving is identical to the issue with the mint name al-Mahfuza (in our Auction 34, Lot 303), only the mint name is clearly al-Mansura, thus likely the very first issue at al-Mansura after the administration transfer from al-Mahruza across the river.
