SELEUKID KINGDOM: Antiochos III Megas, 223-187 BC, AR tetradrachm (17.18g), Antioch on the Orontes mint, BMC-16, struck circa 204-197 BC, diademed head right // Apollo Delphios, nude but for chlamys draped from his waist, wearing laurel wreath and seated on omphalos, holding arrow with his right hand and resting his left on a bow leaning against the omphalos, monogram to outer left, VF. From an old Collection, purchased by the collector in the 1960s with his tag.
